Making Strides On the Go!

Since 1993, the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign has united communities, companies, and individuals with the collective goal to end breast cancer as we know it. These 3- to – 5- mile non-competitive walks provide a supportive community for courageous breast cancer survivors and metastatic breast cancer thrivers, caregivers, and families alike.

You can now join the Making Strides digital experience – Making Strides On The Go – set for October 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. This unique event allows participants and survivors and thrivers to rally their team, get decked out in their Making Strides pink flare, and walk together while experiencing a personalized, LIVE event right in their own city or neighborhood.

Through the CHARGE App, Making Strides On the Go will broadcast an interactive, 45-minute experience that includes high energy music, live hosted programming, and the ability to walk together with the Making Strides community – all while chatting and swapping selfies online from anywhere in the country.

As a recognized leader in breast cancer research, the American Cancer Society knows that breast cancer patients and their families are counting on us to help save and improve lives each and every day. We are putting 100+ years of lifesaving experience to work through investments in breast cancer research, ensuring greater access to quality care, influencing public policy, and providing patient support. Thanks in large part to these decades of work, a breast cancer diagnosis does not come without hope, and the breast cancer journey is not one that is traveled alone.

The American Cancer Society invites you to join forces with the nation’s nonprofit leader working tirelessly to end breast cancer as we know it and join the Making Strides movement. Get started today at www.makingstrideswalk.org.
